Some important considerations when you are driving in the rainy season

In this blog, we shall talk about some tips that you need to strictly consider when you are driving in the monsoon.

Spare Tyre:

Your car needs to have a spare tire (an inflated one) at all times. This particularly relevant for rainy season and wet roads. Usually, storm or heavy downpour (which is usually seen in the monsoons) can spread sharp and edgy debris on the surface of the road. And this can e dangerous as you won’t be able to anticipate these sudden occurrences on the road. The wind can bring sharp items as well and the chances of a puncture on-road increase. Hence, it is only prudent that you carry a spare one.

Washer Tank:

Make sure that there is fluid in the washer tank. You can also consider adding a little bit of detergent, or any liquid for cleaning the windshield in particular. This is usually helpful when there is inconsiderate splashed of moisture in the rainy season, or when there is mud splashing on the windshield.

Tyres:

Make sure that your tires are checked properly and that they are rotated every 4-6 months. Tire rotation endures that the tires wear of equally and that there is no uneven wearing. Make sure that your tires have treads on them when you are driving in the monsoon season. The treads function to dissipate the excess water from the surface to enhance grip and friction and this is a must.
